Tough Enough 3 - Episode 9

This week starts with a recap of Kelly getting cut last week. Big talked about how tough Iceland is and that's why they were brought there.

A few of the contestants spoke out against Jamie, saying how she'll dish it out but not take it. She took Eric to task for hooking up with a girl on last week's episode. Jonah told her she's a pig. They then showed clips of her burping and saying "diva" after. I had no opinion on Jamie before this, but I was quickly annoyed by her "diva" thing.

The next scene has Big talking to the guys about treating Jamie right. I'm sure everyone loves being in a competition and one person getting unfair treatment.

The group was training and complaining how hard the ring was. The ring then broke and the group had to take down, and put the ring back up.

A news crew came to interview the contestants and Jonah joked around with them. Bill DeMott did not take to kindly to this and told Jonah he needs to be professional in and out of the ring, and that he wouldn't talk to Vince McMahon that way.

Al Snow threatened to get Jonah in a rib by coming into his room in the middle of the night. Jonah was paranoid.

Big talked with Jamie, pretty much giving the same speech to her he gave the guys. That way she knows she will be getting preferential treatment I guess.

Matt betrayed Jonah and worked with Al to sneak an autographed photo into Jonah's room. Jonah couldn't figure out how it was done.

They went to a Viking restaurant that was setup sort of like Medieval Times here. There were Vikings that had a mock battle, then they ate Viking food. They had shark meet that was buried in the ground and urinated on for flavor. No wonder the Vikings were so mad. Jonah was putting the food in his shoes, which made the group wonder why the smell was still there later after the food was gone. Jonah offered to get naked to prove he didn't have the food, and Bill DeMott made him go through with it.

After the restaurant they went to the beach and had a bonfire. Bill was telling the group about respect and Jonah called wrestling "bullshit" which upset Bill to the point that he went to another fire. Jonah said he felt his stomach drop.

Jonah went over to Bill's fire and they talked. They seemed to bond here and Jonah seemed to understand more about respect after. Bill burped and said "diva". I can just see the WWE t-shirts now.

The next day the group trained with a former strong man champion. Eric was a huge strongman fan so he knew all the events and loved doing it. He did very well. Jamie seemed to struggle but she was able to do a few military presses with a pipe sort of thing which she was praised for and Jonah said she earned his respect.

The next day a group of kids were at the ring and Jonah and John had a match for the kids. The match went pretty well. John was wrestling in the indys (and still is now) as Johnny Onyx in Northern California, so I imagine that really helped the match. Jonah won the match and the kids loved it.

When the group was back at the hotel, Jonah and Matt planned to throw Jonah's shoes with the shark meat in them into Al's room. Al was too smart for them and was waiting by the door when they showed up. Al said he will get all of them back when they get back to Los Angeles.

The group talked about how close they've all become, and did some diving off a waterfall. They will be back in LA next week.

On the clips for next week it showed Al and Bill doing some kind of raid on the house. It should be entertaining.

Overall a decent episode. If they were trying to make Jamie out to be disgusting, they did a great job.
