NJPW BOASJ Final 4 Names Announced and More!

 THE BEST OF AMERICAN SUPER JR. AND LA GRAN CONVOCATORIA ROSTER IS COMPLETE
Santa Monica, CA (May 4, 2006) – The Best of American Super Jr. Tournament is just a few short weeks away and today organizers have released the final four participants for the May 19th event, they are:
Alex Koslov – From NWA™ Pro Wrestling comes this very popular Russian born fighter. Koslov has been a top competitor for every promotion he has worked for and since dedicating himself to the New Japan Dojo and the NWA™, he has stepped his game up 100%. Koslov hopes that his “Red Scare” submission will take him to the finals and his first schedule with NJPW.
Joey Ryan – The current Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Champion throws his hat in the arena, as he is no stranger to the BOASJ format. For years Ryan frequented the New Japan Dojo and understands Mr. Inoki’s “Toukon” philosophy. Since leaving the Dojo in 2003, Ryan has made a bigger name for himself as he has competed all around the world as well as having several appearances with World Wrestling Entertainment® under his belt.
Karl “The Machine Gun” Anderson – Representing the National Wrestling Alliance® as its reigning British Commonwealth Champion comes a man with a lot of weight on his shoulders. Anderson does not know the definition as he has been on a winning streak over the last three months. He is dedicated to his family’s heritage and always wants to do his Uncle Ole and Arn proud.
Black Tiger – This man participated in last years BOASJ and lost to Dragon Soldier B, but won a spot in the Japanese tour because Officials pulled “B” due to unsportsmanlike like conduct. Black Tiger has had a bitter feud with Tiger Mask and lost his IWGP Jr. and NWA™ World Jr. titles to him earlier this year. Black Tiger is also a member of Jushin Liger’s CTU and TNA’s Team Japan.
La Gran Convocatoria: Best of Super Jr. Bound is a new Lucha Themed Tournament that will be held on Sunday May 14, 2006 at the New Japan Dojo in Santa Monica, CA. The following will be participating:

Acero Dorado
Chilango
Guerrero de Sangre
Phoenix Star
These two spectacular shows are a part of the New Japan Dojo’s 4th Anniversary Celebration. Bell Time for the Best of American Super Jr. Tournament in El Monte, CA is 7:30 PM and there is a $15.00 General Admission Ticket. La Gran Convocatoria will happen at the New Japan Dojo and Adult Tickets are $10.00 while Children are $5.00. Tickets are on sale at both locations. Cards subject to change. |
