From the desk of Battle Ground Pro Wrestling Commissioner Jason Bennett:

I am proud to announce the return of Battle Ground Pro Wrestling in the New Year 2006! We return from hiatus on Saturday January 14th, 2006 at the American Legion Hall in Newhall, CA with "A New Hope". We are thrilled to be running in a building with such a storied history for SoCal wrestling. Tickets will be $10 and bell time is 8pm.

Battle Ground Pro Wrestling is at this moment without a heavyweight champ, but that will not be the case after the 14th as the inaugural champion will be decided in a FATAL FOUR WAY ELIMINATION MATCH. The participants are the final four men from our battle royal back in July. We will see:

THE HUMAN TORNADO vs. AL KATRAZZ vs. SCOTT LOST vs. THE PLAGUE
One of these men will walk out of "A New Hope" the very first BiG Pro Heavyweight Champion!

BiG Pro Lucha Libre Champion LI'L CHOLO will defend his title against rising newcomer NEMESIS.

LOS LUCHAS (ZOKRE & PHOENIX STAR) will take on SILVER TYGER & INFERNAL in high-flying tag team action.

Newhall's own bad boy "BRAWLIN'" BO COOPER will be challenged by young fan favorite "MARVELOUS" MARKUS RIOT.

THE STEPFATHER will meet DANNY "KING" FAVIANO in one on one competition.

Plus UNCLE JESS & BIG BEAR CALHOUN, two of SoCal's favorite old school veterans, team up to take on fellow old schoolers CRAYZ & PHENOMENAL PHIL.

Of course, there will also be ME, the most handsome and modest man in SoCal wrestling, your commissioner and the light of your lives, JASON BENNETT. Plus one more match to be announced. Card subject to change, as always…you bastards.
