Tony Stradlin will defend his Mat Wars title against the guy who earned his shot at the recent Road Wars show - Lil Nate. Nate was victorious over Andrew Helman in a #1 Contenders match and doesn't want to stop there. Stradlin still has his eyes set on the Lightweight title held by Frankie Kazarian and feels he should not have to wrestle Nate. Tony Stradlin also has a special announcement he will make at Mat Wars. Coming from the unpredictable Tony Stradlin, that could be anything!

Making his Mat Wars Debut is Ultimate Universities Top Student Mario Quezada. You can expect a lot of potential from Quezada, after all, he is the top student of a University that has spawned the likes of John Cena, Vansac Acid (Zero-One) and Victoria. Mario takes on the newly aggressive Tommy Wilson. Since forming a bond with Tony Stradlin, Wilson had developed quite a mean streak. Will he spoil Mario Quezada's debut?
