 (Santa Monica, CA) - Today NJPW - USA producers announced that Todd
Keneley, Scott Corvair and CM Punk would provide the commentary for all of
the KVMD - TV matches; rounding out the team will be interviewer John
Maverick.
Since 2002, Keneley has been an instrumental figure backstage for UPW. His
UPW roles included, talent development, booking and commentating. Keneley
will continue his working relationship with UPW while being the lead
announcer for NJPW - TV.
CM Punk is no stranger to the broadcast booth as he is the color
commentator for the popular Ring of Honor home video and DVD releases.
Punk brings an ever-critical eye to the broadcast and his flavor of humor
that will make for some interesting television.
"Scott Corvair and John Maverick are new to the broadcasting end of pro
wrestling, but are no strangers to the business and we are happy to have
them as a part of our team" states NJPW - USA Line Producer, Joe
Franciosi.
