Press Releases: Revolution Pro returns April 3rd
Posted by Steven Bryant on Friday, March 26, 2004 @ 10:00 AM Pacific
Rev Pro Revolution Pro returns once more on April 3rd, 2004 with a show that has seen alot of changes. This show features a main event which features the Revolution Pro Heavyweight title, a huge tag team encounter with reprocussion that are left questionable, and a 4 way match contenders match that will have an effect on future title matches in Rev Pro.

MAIN EVENT
Rev Pro Heavyweight Title Match
Super Dragon (c)
vs.
Disco Machine

- When you think of Revolution Pro and it's legacy, you think of these two men. These two men have been the founding fathers of Revolution Pro from the very beginning. They have been the best of friends, and the fiercest fighters against one another. Super Dragon is hot off his Heavyweight title victory over Babi Slymm at March's "One Step Beyond" and is looking to defend the belt against any and all comers. Disco Machine, the number 1 contender, has been in line for a title shot since January. He has been undefeated since October 14th, ironically, when he defeated Super Dragon in Revolution X. Since then, Disco has defeated the likes of the Aerial Express, Phoenix Star, The Human Tornado, and Los Sanchos, alongside the Aggressive Thrill Attraction. This time, Dragon will have to be leary of the Aggressive Thrill Attraction. Who will come out the champion of Revolution Pro, Super Dragon or Disco Machine?

SEMI MAIN EVENT
The Aerial Express (Scorpio Sky & Quick Silver)
vs.
Chris Bosh & Super Boy

- In what was a HUGE pick up for the Aggressive Thrill Attraction, Chris Bosh had announced the newest member of the ATA as being Teddy Hart. Hart had promised to be the key element to the beginning of the ATA's quest for global domination. However, after much thought, Hart didn't want to come to SoCal and decided there was better things to do. Hart's theory, screw Rev Pro the way "they" screwed the ATA. Hart promised to fly someone from Canada himself. What Rev Pro offices didn't know was he actually found a loop hole to bring back the previously banned Super Boy. Super Boy was set to make a much awaited return to Revolution Pro in September, however he stuck it to Rev Pro and brought back Rising Son. From that day foward, Super Boy hasn't been seen in Rev Pro again. Revolution Pro offices were embarrassed of the situation and banned Super Boy for a year. Now, Teddy Hart is bringing Super Boy back, by way of Canada, and has bought out the rest of Super Boy's suspension. Super Boy has some unsettled business to settle with Scorpio Sky from a chair shot that busted him open at the Rev J. Chris Bosh and Quick Silver have a score to settle as well from November. Will the AXP be able to overcome? Or will Bosh and Hart's hired assassian be too much for the AXP to handle?

4 Way Contenders Match
Babi Slymm
vs.
Rising Son
vs.
Topgun Talwar
vs.
Ronin

- With the Heavyweight and Junior Heavyweight title being in great pursue, Commissioner Cuppernill had a hard time deciding who's next in line for either the Heavyweight or Junior title. Babi Slymm, on one hand, deserves a rematch for the Heavyweight title. Rising Son also is deserving of a match for either the Junior or Heavyweight gold. Topgun Talwar has made it clear that he would like Super Dragon to hold onto that Heavyweight title against Disco Machine as he wants to slay the dragon. And then you got the wild card, Ronin, who just earned a contract with Revolution Pro in January and is looking to prove himself in this high stakes match. All 4 of these men have never met before, and with 4 way rules, anything is possible.

Jardi Frantz
vs.
Zokre

- With a Junior Heavyweight title shot guaranteed on April 7th's Rev X show, Zokre is looking to test himself. He asked Revolution Pro offices to give him one of the best junior heavyweights in California that can get just as high as him. Without hesitation, the offices offered him Jardi Frantz. Jardi Frantz is no stranger to Southern California and is a contender anywhere he goes. From APW, he has been one of the biggest talks in indy wrestling for them. With two of the best juniors in California, this one has the makings to steal the show.

Los Sanchos (American Wild Child & Angel)
vs.
Rush Hour (Dana Lee & Orlando Mathis)

- American Wild Child & Angel have been on a tear lately. With numerous wins under their belts, they are eying the Revolution Pro Tag Team titles in their grasp. With this in mind, the Sanchos wanted a new challenge outside of Revolution Pro. APW offered one of their top tag teams, inspired by the great Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, Dana Lee and Orlando Mathis known as Rush Hour. AWC got offended when he heard the Rush Hour duo was looking to bring their act to Hollywood. Angel, on the other name, got excited bout to chance of taking them down to way West Hollywood. Will the Sanchos give Rush Hour a Hollywood premier they will regret? Or will Rush Hour reign supreme and earn the money out of the box office?

FMLL Action
Acero Dorado, Jr. & Shamu, Jr. & Profeta
vs.
Elvio Reyes, Principe Unlimited, Alucinate

- In authetic lucha libre action the team of Acero Dorado, Jr., Shamu, Jr. and Profeta go against Elvio Reyes, Principe Unlimited and Alucinate. Elvio Reyes is a former FMLL Heavyweight champion. Principe Unlimited is known as "The Golden Child" of Socal lucha libre. He has also seen past Rev Pro action at the Rev J 2003. Alucinate has previously wrestled at Rev X and AWS and is an underrated high flyer. Acero Dorado, Jr. is no stranger to Southern California fans, working for FMLL, Rev Pro, and AWS in the past. Shamu, Jr. himself is a former Rev Pro Mexican Lucha Libre heavyweight champion. Profeta has been featured in numerous FMLL main events. This one will be a treat for the traditional lucha libre fans.

Charles Mercury & Big E. Biggz
vs.
The Human Tornado & Johnny Paradise

- The newly formed stable of Charles Mercury and Big E. Biggz are looking to make a mark in the Revolution Pro tag team rankings. They much start at the bottom of the rung and try their luck with The Human Tornado and Johnny Paradise. Tornado and Paradise have teamed before in the past at the Fight For The Revolution 3. In fact, Mercury, Tornado, and Paradise are no strangers to each other from that series. Big E. Biggz is bitter bout being eliminated from the FFTR early on and is looking to prove his weight.

Also faxed to me from Teddy Hart's management, Teddy Hart is scheduled to address the Revolution Pro fans on that very night. Whatever that means is anyone's guess.
