UPW announced today that renown announcers Bruce Buffer and Justin Roberts will join the festivities at UPW's 5th Anniversary Spectacular...Overload.
Buffer has gained international fame as the official voice of the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). Roberts is a recent addition to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and is a regular presense on WWE's Tuesday "Smackdown!" telecasts.
ON UPW's February 20th 5th Anniversary Spectacular, these two seasoned pros will each announce one match.
Appropriately, Buffer will take the mic to help answer the question posed by UPW fans -- "Who is the World's Most Dangerous Man," as he emcees the sure-to-be-brutal showdown between UFC Legend Ken Shamrock and UPW's own Sylvester "Predator" Terkay.
Roberts will take over to introduce the contest between UPW Women's Champion Erica Porter, as she answers the challenge of former WWE Women's Champion Ivory.
Jon Ian, the voice of UPW for more than the past 3 years, remains firmly in place as the emcee for UPW events and will host the action at The Grove on February 20.
Overload is a benefit for The Orangewood Children's Foundation and Roberts and Buffer have both graciously agreed to donate their services at Overload, in order to maximize the donation made to the Foundation and to The Orangewood Children's Home.
