 At February 7th's UPW show Tony Stradlin defeated The Miz in the finals of the UPW Mat Wars Title Tournament to become the first Mat Wars champion. Also on the show The Ballards (Shannon & Shane Ballard) won a four corners tag team match when Hardkore Inc. was DQ'd for using a chair and the teams of Shawn Riddik & Lil' Nate and Sabbath & Skulu were counted out.
