Set in the deco splendor of The Mayan Theater, Lucha VaVOOM presents 4 big Lucha Libre matches with breathtaking burlesque beauties between bouts. The fast paced, action packed matches are embellished with live color commentary from Blaine Capatch (TV's Beat the Geeks and Mad TV) and Patton Oswalt (King of Queens, HBO & Comedy Central specials) to complete this surreal live experience.
In their recent "WHATS NEXT" issue, TIME MAGAZINE predicted Lucha Va Voom has a "big future" elaborating, "Tired of going to three separate nightclubs to see midgets, strippers and Mexican wrestlers? Lucha VaVOOM is a racy, raucous stage show that combines all three, and it's an L.A. hipster favorite..."
ROLLING STONE magazine singled out Lucha VaVOOM in their "Cool" issue, declaring "Why deny yourself the thrill of watching the forces of midget good pummel those of midget evil in a barrage of top-rope body slams and cape-fluttering atomic drops? Lucha VaVOOM wrestling is bolstered by old-timey striptease numbers and female tag-team matches...if that weren't enough, French maids then pick up after each act..."
For Lucha VaVOOM 4, lucha legend Mil Mascaras returns to battle the evil La Parka, with help from Huracan Ramirez, Jr. Also returning are crowd favorites the crazy chickens, an all-minis match and more monster Mexican masked mania than you can shake a pinata stick at! Spectacular striptease sirens Kitten DeVille, Ming Dynatease, Ursulina & Summer Peaches return with an all Hallow's Eve display of bloodcurdling burlesque, as well as some "new blood."
Mr. Unknown brings his vast lucha libre knowledge to Lucha VaVOOM, and DJ Senor Amor will provide a Mad Monster Party-esque soundtrack to tie it all together...donąt miss what is sure to be the ultimate Halloween show in Los Angeles!
