 PWG's All Star Weekend V set for April 7 & 8, 2007!

Jamul, CA - If one were to ask a professional chronologist what the month of April brought to mind, some would say springtime, others would say the start of baseball season, but the very best chronologists would say that April means Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's All Star Weekend. The fifth iteration of PWG's All Star Weekend will be taking place at the Van Nuys Armory on Saturday, April 7 at 8:00PM, and Sunday, April 8 at 5:00PM.
After catching wind of a rumor that PWG Commissioner Dino Winwood was readying a big announcement for this week at "70 | 30" concerning PWG World Tag Team Title Tournament in May, Commissioner of Food & Beverage Excalibur decided to jump the gun with his big announcement! On Saturday, April 7, 2007, and Sunday, April 8, 2007 at PWG's All Star Weekend V, one of the most most talked about figures in independent professional wrestling, Low Ki will be making his Pro Wrestling Guerrilla debut! On Night 1, Low Ki will be taking on one half of the former PWG World Tag Team Champions, Davey Richards, in singles competition. And on Night 2, Excalibur has lined up one of the biggest matches in PWG history for All Star Weekend, when Low Ki will take on none other than Huntington Beach's own Samoa Joe! This match is a rare opportunity for fans to see a match that has never occurred in Southern California, and it will all go down at PWG's All Star Weekend V on April 7 & 8!
Unfortunately, with the good news comes some bad news, for PWG fans at least; Rocky "Azucar" Romero will be unable to attend PWG's All Star Weekend V due to commitments with NOAH in Japan. Therefore, his match for Night 1 has been changed to "Double C" Claudio Castagnoli taking on "The Do'er of the Backbreaker" Roderick Strong!
