Lucha Va Voom returns this Wednesday June 23rd and Thursday 24th, to the Mayan Theater at 1038 South Hill St., Downtown LA. Doors open at 7PM, with the show starting at 8PM. General Admission tickets are $30, Ringside seating for $55, and No Fly Zone seating for $65. Nobody under the age of 21 will be admitted.

LOS ANGELES, January 8, 2009 — This Valentine’s season, Lucha VaVOOM’s buxom beauties and masked Mexican marauders will be spreading the love far and wide when they come back to Los Angeles’ illustrious Mayan Theatre, Wednesday February 11 and Thursday, February 12, then take their unrivaled show of sex, violence and comedy to new locales. The sexed-up, adrenaline-fueled carnival of kitsch will kick off with a triumphant return to Anaheim’s Grove Theatre for a one-night-only 18+ “Sin City Spectacular” Friday, January 30 followed by their Ventura county debut at the Ventura Theatre Saturday, January 31. The West Coast romp will wrap up with a San Diego premiere at 4th and B, fittingly enough, Friday, February 13. Tickets for the L.A. shows are on sale now and can be purchased via Ticketweb.com. All other locations are available via Ticketmaster.

“MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000” CREATOR JOEL HODGESON
LOS ANGELES, October 5, 2007 _ It's time to dust off the lucha libre mask and don that sparkly spandex because for the first time in its five-year existence Lucha VaVOOM will be taking place on All Hallow's Eve, October 31. The three-day Halloween-week extravaganza entitled “Luchadores are Go!” runs from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, the Day of the Dead, at the historic Mayan Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. For the 16th performance, “Mystery Science Theatre 3000” creator Joel Hodgeson has signed on to deliver wise cracks all night long.
