Los Angeles, CA - Long-time fans of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com) know that Highspots (http://www.highspots.com), the premiere retailer of professional wrestling merchandise, has worked with us as distribution partner of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla DVDs for over six years. Because of this relationship, we were extremely surprised when Highspots ask us to be a part of Wrestlereunion 4 (http://www.wrestlereunion.com) since we figured after six years, they were probably pretty sick of us. San Dimas, CA - After holding two huge events, Speed of Sound and Guerre Sans Frontières, just seven days apart, the staff of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla were looking forward to taking some time off to enjoy the Labor Day Holiday here in the US, and the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Board of Directors were only too happy to oblige. That is, until they remembered that the 2009 Battle of Los Angeles is on the distant horizon, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's next live event, Against The Grain, is on the more immediate, October 2nd-shaped horizon. After those realizations, there was no time to be wasted on chilling out, maxing, or relaxing all cool. It was back to working twelve hour days (which largely consisted of attempted lopsided Fantasy Football trades and Googling "How many ping pong balls fit in a 55 gallon drum?"), but by the end of the week, progress was made, and Against The Grain had taken shape. With the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Championship Title laying vacant, the World Tag Team Championship takes center stage, with the build toward the 2009 Battle of Los Angeles serving as the backdrop, at Against The Grain. |

Updates to Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's Guerre Sans Frontières on 9/4!

Midlothian, CA - Often times in the world of professional wrestling, things just don't work out how they're anticipated. Case in point: Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's (http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com) upcoming event on Friday, September 4, 2009, Guerre Sans Frontières, or as it has become known internally, the Tom Petty Invitational. See, months ago, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla management reached out to recording artist Tom Petty (of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers fame) to see if he would be interested in putting on a Super Bowl XLII-esque performance during the 15-minute intermission at Guerre Sans Frontières. All calls and queries to Mr. Petty's management have gone unreturned, but the invitation still stands! There is a possibility that Tom Petty may be performing live at American Legion Hall #308 in Reseda, CA during Guerre Sans Frontières, but there is also a distinct possibility that he may not. Taking that into account, the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Board of Directors have made some superb additions to an already amazing lineup.

Then exactly seven days later, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla returns to Reseda, CA with Guerre Sans Frontières on Friday, September 4! While close in proximity, each event promises to be extremely unique, with the type of professional wrestling you can only find in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla! Reseda, CA - With Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's (http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com) Threemendous II going down in the books as a huge success, it is now time to follow in the footsteps of many other great promotions and acts, and take this show on the road. We are proud to announce that on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 8:00PM, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla will embark on the Speed of Sound tour, bringing our unique brand of professional wrestling to fans all around the world. The single day, single venue tour will start and end in the historic city of Reseda, in sunny California, at the famed American Legion Post #308 on Friday the 28th.
While the Speed of Sound tour will stop in as many locations as possible, there is a chance that we may not visit whatever remote locale you call home. Fear not, there will be an eventual tour DVD release, and perhaps next year, if your city reaches the level of a thriving metropolis such as Reseda, we may end up in your neck of the woods.
